Marching Band Receives 'Silver' at Jasper
October 24th, 2008 - submitted by John Fischer

The marching band performed a strong show at Jasper, but came up just shy of advancing to regional competition. Band Director John Fischer felt it was a very strong show, their best of the season, and that making it out of district to the next round could have gone either way. "We knew it was going to be close. We feel we put our best show out there, but in the end, it came up just short of receiving the necessary score to move on. The kids know they did well, and that is most important."
